Hiked Mt Kilimanjaro with this company. The guides were very knowledgeable and ready to assist when required. The porters provided a great service, carrying the tents, food and equipment as necessary. The tents were always ready when we made it to camp. The food was great - thanks cooks! What an amazing adventure! Leader Expeditions and Makori were fantastic in looking after us as we slowly walked (pole,pole) up Mt Kilimanjaro. The team was very supportive and addressed all of our needs. Imagine being in the middle of nowhere and having your dinner with crockery, knives and forks set up on a table with tablecloths! Leader Expeditions and the team are brilliant and I have made some good friends from this experience. Summit day was hard but without their assistance and support, we would never have made it to the top. The safari afterwards was the 'icing on the cake'! Serengeti is such a wonderful place. I can't rate the team at Leader Expeditions highly enough. They guided our group with professionalism, friendliness and a focus on safety to the top of Mt Kilimanjaro and then on Safari through Ngorongoro and Serengeti - the itinerary was perfect, the food and accomodation was excellent, the experience of both the mountain and the safari was beyond expectations. He is very experienced and knowledgeable about the mountain, the trails and the camps and he and his team made sure we were safe and had fun throughout all our hike.      We went to Kilimanjaro through Marangu route. Amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience! The whole trip was very organized, well-planned and went really smoothly. Michael and the team have been extremely helpful, couldn’t have made it to the peak without them. They are really professional, experienced, careful, and really passionate about the mountains. Always super encouraging, cheerful and full of positive energy which was really essential when your body is already struggling with high intensity exercise and high altitude. The team was well-prepared and took care of us really well, helped us carry our bags and even provided hot drinks during our final push to the summit. Michael is also very knowledgeable about the mountains and always very willing to share, making the trip extra fun. Totally recommend! Hiking Kilimanjaro is challenging enough, so better do it with a reliable team. Would like to come back again for Machame route!
